The Everton Board Thread

I was wondering why Carlin has been so quiet. Looks like he’s taken to Twitter instead

Getting past the hate for Bill, that tweet has a valid point. When Bill goes it won't solve out problems, they start at the top. Whilst Bill is to blame for the decades of decline Moshiri has done nothing to correct the course of the last 7 years, in fact he has made it 10x worse.

Does Moshiri have to buy them?

I'd leave him with them.
Nobody is bound to buy BK's shares and he doesn't have to sell . He can still be a shareholder after he's removed from office. He's just looking for a payoff . 1750 shares @ say £3,500 is over £6m .

You're right, Bill going won't solve every single issue. Much like DBB, Sharp and Ingles going. However, what it will do is make probably 80% of Evertonians feel as if the club can now move on and hopefully generate a feel good factor of a new era can push this club up the table slowly. Of course, it's not guaranteed a new era will be good but a total change at the club may just be what we need.

I would imagine Moshiri will be bail once the stadium is built. Whether MSP can convince him to chill out and stop meddling in the mean time, who knows.

Staggering to see you refer to him as "Bill" 3 times in the 1st 3 lines. He's not your friend or cuddly next door neighbour, he's destroyed our football club

The most damage to the club has occurred in the last few short years and Moshiri has been in charge in that time.

It never ceases to amaze me how Moshiri is getting away so lightly in all of this while a board which had very little power gets all the blame.

I have said it before the best decision Moshiri made for himself at Everton was keeping BK at the club.
Where were we in the table when Moshiri arrived?

If it was not for the new stadium which at the moment is the only real spark of hope for the club then Moshiri would have been the worst owner ever.

I can only hope MSP take a substantial stake in the operation of the club because it is hard to see how they could be worse than Moshiri/Usmanov.
