I have said it before the best decision Moshiri made for himself at Everton was keeping BK at the club.
Where were we in the table when Moshiri arrived?

If it was not for the new stadium which at the moment is the only real spark of hope for the club then Moshiri would have been the worst owner ever.

I can only hope MSP take a substantial stake in the operation of the club because it is hard to see how they could be worse than Moshiri/Usmanov.

Moshiri put the money in, the board and the managers wasted it. Moshiri is building the ground we had been promised for years, Bill and DBB have both tried to claim credit for it. Our Board has made a total mess of spending Moshiri’s money. Moshiri should have had a clear out a couple of years ago, that’s his fault. Yet you appear to be absolving the failure of a board, who also dreamt up headlockgate and publicly blamed the fans, all of them not just one fan, then used this excuse to do a runner since January. Or was that Moshiri’s fault as well…….

Can't they all just go. They can fight amongst themselves who did worse or who's to blame.

None of them have been good enough.

Moshiri also undercut his senior management by doing transfer business on the side and not respecting due process.

Yes he put the cash in, but he has simultaneously contributed to our on-field mess more than anyone.

I really hope that the minority investment forces process and ensures Moshiri removes himself from transfer business. The prospect of the loan being pulled will hopefully be enough to discipline him.

There’s more to owning a Premier League football club than “putting the money in”. I just wish some of our fans could process this fairly simple information.

Would have thought Moshiri has many advisers outside Everton fc who sit round and discuss his various investments they are clueless as he. Reckon MSP will lead to buy out.in time.

Spot on post Pete, though I will say Moshiri did meddle in some signings and managers, but if you owned the club wouldn't you be tempted.

He must have has some clue as he was at Arsenal before us and I agree Moshiri isn't blameless, which I stated, but at least he put his money where his mouth is.

He has no clue, which is why he was kept in the admin office with zero influence at Arsenal.

Todd Boehly has put his money where his mouth is, he must be the greatest owner in the world. Tony Fernandes put his money where his mouth is. Peter Ridsdale put his money where his mouth is.

It is not that simple or even close.
Yes, Moshiri funded the club since his arrival but continously made executive decisions like the appointment of Benitez against the wishes of the board.
Marco Silva spoke of coaches being told what teams to pick while on board the yacht of Usmanov.

The board are guilty of just sitting back and letting this madness unfold.
If they had the resolve to resign when they saw stupid decisions being made instead of rubber stamping them we might not be in our current mess.
 
Kenwright is the only common denominator. There was no talk of Moshiri meddling till after the bulk of his war-chest was spent on rubbish. His biggest mistake was leaving the serial failure in charge instead of appointing his own.... but that was probably part of the deal. He had to spend a fortune just to clear the debts he inherited, then left the same crowd that accrued them to spend his money. Disastrous decision.
