The Everton Board Thread

I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!
It depends on how much patience people still have in the tank after 28 years - I don’t blame people for being at the end of their tether. I think the thing with Bill is personal. I think his influence is dwindling…..it’s just that he gets to stay in the stage for an undefined interim period that got people pissed off. If the club had said he was staying on for 7 weeks to usher in the new board people would have accepted that….they just don’t trust him to crawl from under his rock to get more time with the club. I also think there’s an element of now finally seeing (if they hadn’t before) that this is Moshiri’s doing.

Exactly. We all want him gone.

People stamping their feet because Kenwright stays on a few more weeks are in danger of alienating themselves.

The coming weeks will bring a few players in and Kenwright scuttling off into retirement.

Patience is required.

Kenwright will not be gone in the next few weeks, that is incredibly naive imo. He’s here til we move into the stadium or he kicks the bucket, whichever comes first.

The board said 48 hours, and were then pilloried for taking around 10-11 days. My fear is they have now, in their wisdom just said interim, meaning they do not want to be held to a timeframe. interim could mean anything from weeks to months to years

See heres the thing. Believing anything thats said now is very naive. Moshiri and Kenwright will openly lie about things, and have done so regularly in the past. They arent saying things because they are true, they are saying things because they want to control the narrative. Theres no reason to believe Bill is going anywhere until the stadium is built and the club is sold, and the more they can draw out the process and release little lies, the more they believe people will be accepting of it when the truth becomes obvious. Such as the "48 hours" and then the long delay before the announcement he was staying.

When can we open the relegation 23/24 thread? We will be in it again....

No money to buy players, if we want to buy we have to sell, how do we replace what left and what is sold? Even if we do that we are in it again....

In the situation Everton are in how do we IMPROVE the squad from last season? I don`t think we will that is why we need the relegation thread opened for the new season.

Anyone else find this interesting?

I'm not sure the word transition stretches that far.

Gone by the end of the summer IMO.
