The Everton Board Thread

But of course, both Kenwright and Moshiri, are men of their word.

How do you think the fans are going to take to Kenwright sat in the Directors box for the first game of the season, after he declared war on them, with his smears and lies ?

By letting Kenwright stay on, he’s just lit the blue touch paper.
That wont happen.

He'll be gone...and if he isn't he would be advised not to.

Kenwright is not worth the worry. We have bigger issues to deal with than him:

financing a stadium
getting money spent on players
avoiding a harsh punishment from the PL Commission

...to name but three.

He's also consistently wrong about all things Everton despite presenting himself as ITK.
He represents a body of opinion that is implacably against Kenwright's continuance at the club.

Yet he can see the recent changes as substantial and historic.

You`ve been saying he`ll be gone for months now, but here we are, not only is he still here, but the idiot owner has given him more power than he had before.

I said the board were gone - and 3/4s of them are gone. And Kenwright is here for a short period longer.

I mean, I'm not making this statement up from the club. It's you and others who are making stuff up.

Players into this team. That's what we should be concerned about.

We are concerned about that and we can clearly see the reasons for that, yet here you are, claiming its not an issue.

Was Kenwright responsible for Tarkowski, McNeil, Garner coming in and Onana?

I'm a bit confused about who he's signed. Maybe you can recall?

Not mentioning Maupay I see.
I dont know. I'm asking a genuine question.

I'd like to know because Kenwright's role in signing players and selling them appears to be the reason he needs to be chased out of the club for some.

As far as I'm concerned he should be punted because he's been at the heart of a club that's won f.a. for almost 30 years...nearly all of that time on his watch.

If that's the case why would he he state it's a transitional situation for Kenwright?
Because it suits both parties to say it is transitional: to avoid a full-scale fan rebellion. In reality, EVERYTHING is transitional. Fobbing off the fans in the hope that some short-term improvement brought about by the new investors will take the heat off Kenwright and Moshiri is the prize here. It's working.

But he didn't. And we know why he didn't. It's a transitional situation.
He didn't because it would mean his useful enablers - those who believe his lies - would be out of commission. Right now, those people - the self-styled "patient" types - are doing his work for him.

Strange how there's such an overlap between them and the people who thought that there was never a good time to protest by the fans last season and even this summer. You'd imagine they were actually happy enough with the status quo...

I think you're just seeing reds under the bed at every turn now.

Tis Kenwright obsession is becoming McCarthyism.

Im talking about now.

You appear concerned that we havent brought in any players, yet you appear to be downplaying the reason for that.

I suggest its cos we have a Chairman and a Board not fit for purpose, maybe you have other reasons?

My position is crystal clear: you are deluded if you think this club can improve while it is being eaten from within by the cancer that is Kenwright. We are headed to the Championship next term if it is he who has any say whatsoever in this summer's transfer business.

No club can achieve with a dysfunctional board pulling in several different directions. Kenwright and Moshiri - despite the self-serving PR - are tied together in a marriage of contempt. The club will take the role of the children in such a loveless union.

No, now you`re back tracking, as per.

No one is making stuff up, as he now sits alongside the idiot and their pet DOF, making transfer decisions.

This is not a position, that is given to someone who is sitting in a temporary role.

You were very wrong about Kenwright, as not only is he still here, but he`s been given more power, by the idiot in charge.

The idiot in charge may have given him more power, so`s Kenwright becomes his human shield, but the fact still remains, that Kenwright is still here and we all know, including you, but you won`t admit it, that Kenwright is not going anywhere.

There has been nothing at all, not one name put forward by the club or anyone else, as being the new chairman.

My reason is that he's a historic dead hand on success and has used this club to sort his own personal finances out...allegedly.

But all of a sudden it appears it's Kewnright that's in the frame for the transfer business we do and that's the reason he has to go now rather than in a few weeks. That's all a bit convenient because we all know we've had your mate Brands and his predecessorr throwing hundreds of millions into a furnace before Bill was the problem.

Just sayin....
