The Everton Board Thread

But we're not right now are we?

Using the relegation threat in relation to Kenwright staying on for a few more weeks is barrel scraping.

It’s not though, as it‘s just fracturing the fan base even more and fanning the flames of discontent.

Anyone with a brain would‘ve got Kenwright as far away from the club and started to try and repair the damage he’s done.

What would Everton do ?

The issue is how far away from relegation we are NOW.

To claim that we'll be relegated if Kenwright stays on for a transitional period...you know people have lost their heads when that's proffered as a serious proposition.
Do you genuinely believe there will be a new chairman in a few weeks?

I find it difficult to believe that. We are only about 7 weeks from a new season.

I'm sorry, but I think most sensible Everton supporters look at the changes made and those that will come in the next few weeks as promised and they'll be appeased.

If Kenwright's presence on the board drags on into the new season then maybe that changes.

Yes, I believe there will.

I certainly believe that we'll have a new CEO, which for me is more important.

As always time will tell and I hope you are right. But I have no faith in Moshiri and Kenwright to make good decisions. In fact I'd be shocked if Kenwright has left before game 1. I see no reason to have trust in the leadership of the club.

He might not be. But if at that stage we have a CEO that has experience in the industry I dont even think Kenwright is worth worrying over.

Let's face it, this "Kenwright must go for us to move on" narrative is a busted flush. It's a meaningless bloodlust given the changes made and those to come in the next few weeks.

I get it: people want to catch their 'quarry' and wont be too happy at not getting BK's head on a pike staff.

But more importantly for me is that he's now on borrowed time and will be shuffled out the door soon enough.

Blink once if Bill is still in the room.

I still fundamentally believe that nothing will ever change until both Moshiri and Kenwright have left the club

I've thought that for a long time and nothing in the last week has changed that. In fact I'm more convinced now than I was a few weeks ago.

The chances of a successful transfer window are virtually nil without big changes at the top of the club. Dyche will not get backing while they both remain in charge.

There is no path forward for the club without change at the very top. That means new chairman and a takeover. I dont support any minority investment unless it has a clear path to a full takeover in the short to mid term. Otherwise we will be maintaining the status quo.

Dave you change your agenda subtly each time you think the argument may be going against you, by the way, who said anything about being relegated if Kenwright stays on for a transitional period? Never change Dave, you really are a one off.
