The Everton Board Thread

You said there would be more changes in the near future so clearly you do trust them at least to some extent. You have criticised the scepticism from those of us who aren't convinced by any of this.
The club told us there would be changes within 48 hours, 7 days later they admitted they had lied.

So yeah, forgive us if we arent gonna "trust us bro".

We need to be looking abroad for players this summer and not being rinsed in the home market. If he had to continue, it's to mess with transfers again. BK has no knowledge of the markets we need to work in and isn't needed for that purpose.

I do think he'll go but it won't be as early as a few weeks time. The present interim board are there for this transfer window now and that won't change.

Whatever about him being removed eventually, I'm certain he doesn't see it in those terms. For him it's an opportunity to regroup and reassess and see how he can ingratiate himself with MSP.

They could be months away from appointing a new CEO. I don't think they'll change The Chairman until a new CEO comes in. If MSP are to the forefront in conducting an industry-wide search, then the person eventually appointed is most likely in a job now and may need a period of gardening leave.

Dave you change your agenda subtly each time you think the argument may be going against you, by the way, who said anything about being relegated if Kenwright stays on for a transitional period? Never change Dave, you really are a one off.

I cant support my own point of view so I'll change the narrative to an ad hominem attack

I'm basing that on the changes we've already seen.

I'm hardly the only one who thinks change has been made and that more changes will come in a short space of time.

@The Esk has been a vociferous opponent of Kenwright's continued presence but he can see that the noose is tightening around his neck.

Stick to your own opinions Dave they have more credibility……

Bill will go soon enough. We are becoming obsessed. Farhad is on the board now as well. There will be a reason for that too. He has never been interested before about being on the board. when you are in transition like we are there has to be a period where the old and new work together to make the transition as smooth as possible

I always do mate.

The Esk though is a good barometer concerning the changes taking place. If he's reasonably happy that the tectonic plates have shifted then that's a good indicator.

As I said, people have scars of having to put up with Kenwright and his lies, so I understand the level of scepticism that he's on the way out.

However, I think he is. I believe that's apparent now.

Yes, I believe there will.

I certainly believe that we'll have a new CEO, which for me is more important.

The CEO role is the most important. The Interim lad is no doubt a safe pair of hands in the short term, but we need someone with proven vision and business development drive to run our club for the future…

We need a big personality to come in here and face down the owner(s). Let's see if we get one.

But he hasn't gone has he? He can do untold damage whilst he's here.

No he can’t. His power base on the board has been removed, he’s the Chairman not the CEO, Moshiri finally is on the board, we have new faces as well as faces who, operationally, will be fine in the short term while the board is recomposed…….

Some gullible folks think Kenwright is just going to step aside after this "transition".

We all know how this is gonna play out but don't want to admit it.

Kenwright ( who should have walked 1st ) is now kept on by the idiot owner.
He will be involved in all club decisions
& transfer business ( cos Moshiri wants it that way ) .
If the transfer business is considered a success & the new board members come in , Moshiri hails Kenwright for the outstanding job he has done & promptly makes him Club Life President .
He'll be smuggly grinning cutting the ribbons on the Bramley Moore and taking his seat in the directors box.

Sickening.

You're not the only one but I'm not the only person who is sceptical either. There was no road map given to when further change comes. Interim is a very open length of time, especially when the club said they would give an update in 48 hours but took well over 200.

I have very little faith that anything will change. I dont see much reason to believe we're going to see new leadership in the near future. Until I see it, I find it hard to believe it.

Don’t see how he can, he’s never ever gonna be able to attend another game after what he did to this fanbase, the minute Msp land he’s out

And you can well and truly count of him willing to absolutely ruin the opening of the stadium by wanting to make it all about him so his face goes down in history. Needs going asap the kin cancer.
