….do you think the story of them visiting FF & BMD with their sons is untrue?

Its just that I remember you saying the rumour of us being interested in Andros Townsend was baloney.

Hadnt see that. They brought their sons over? Where was that?

I think that's what they want but I don't think it will happen because of how complicated it will all be (and a huge investment in infrastructure).

They want their club's fanbase to pay a subscription fee for their individual games, not spread across a league.

The amount of money made from United charging their international fanbase £9.99 to watch their games live would make them an astronomical amount of money.

The issue though is... Brighton for example would fall way down, TV money would dwindle, and it changes the whole ecosystem of European football. At the moment the tv money is spread across the league, club's makes money outside of that how they want.

You may as well have a European Super League like they've wanted.

And the "Netflix" model is a debt riddled hole. Even the NFL gamepass doesn't have live games in the states (they're replays straight after the game) where as internationally, they're live.

Basically...if would be the international fanbases that will benefit. Not us.

I think any team with top notch American ownership would benefit from the US audiences for example.

This group may have the US and Chinese support as well as possibly others if Moshiri stays as a minor shareholder.

Depends on what their plans are and who they can attract as partners + bring in to run the club.

….widely reported a few days ago. This is from The Athletic (22nd June);

It's not really about the international support...it's charging and making money from them that I do feel the influx of American ownership sees as something completely untapped

Cheers i skimmed it as it seemed like the same news we'd heard.

Missed the last paragraph. @Azza Done any further digging on their sons?

I haven't really looked into Thornton, just seems like a bad egg from that photo of him.

All I know about Kaminski son is he's called Mikhail Gregory Kaminski went to Hofstra University

Looks like this;

And he may have registered two companies called KAM Sports, LLC and KAM Investments, LLC in the state of Nevada. But of course that could have been a name his father used when registering those companies.

I've also found an on going court case which involves the person of that name - be that his son or him himself.

p.s. I may or may not (definitely not) be passing everything I've found to arguably the UKs top sports journalist.

60. On information and belief, when xxxxx own real estate broker questioned this action, Mr. Kaminski responded, “What are they going to do about it?”.

Well what they're going to do is take you to court lad.

And Greg O'Keeffe reckons this kid is going to have hands on day-to-day running of a Premier League football club.

**** that. These crooks are getting no where near this club.

It will be interesting to discover who the other ‘interested parties’ are.
Presumably we will have to wait until this period of exclusivity ends?
Either way I reckon this situation has several months to run before we see any resolution.
