Im not fussed if Moshers leaves but we'll only progress with wealthy backers be it state backed or Usmanov type wealth owners like Villa have who'll put a plan in place and invest into the playing staff.

These Yanks aint no good to us and Kenyon is a dodgy individual.
It doesn't matter how wealthy the new owners are, they won't be able to spend big money for a couple of years yet because of the absolute shambles the Iranian lunatic is leaving the club in.. I notice from your recent posts, you seem to be trying to put some distance from your several tedious years of Mosh man, something something heated seat in a shiny new stadium, etc.etc.

Probably take new owners 20 minutes to find much better sponsorship of the club freeing up loads of cash. Our Sponsorship is so low it’s stupid. We have what 4 sponsors other teams have over 20

Hang on, weren't you saying that Villa are doing what we did and are just a couple of years behind our situation ffp wise with their spending? Is that a good plan now?

We had an usmanov type owner (literally usmanov) and look where we are.

You do realise FFP is changing from this year dont you? It'll be no longer 3 year running losses its now based on wages to turnover.

Hypothetically that means Everton could sign 3x £50 million boss 21 year old players and providing the wage structure is in order "losses" are not calculated or penalised.

So going forward yes having wealthy owners IS important mate.

Or do you want to go through the BK era again?

Is that not UEFA? And is focused on clubs playing European football, which we aren't and are unlikely to be.

There's also a 3 year grace period to get wages to turnover down to the 70% mark as well.

But I don't believe the PL rules of profit and sustainability that are the actual issue for us are changing, unless I've missed that announcement.

I'm sure you're right, but, as it's on a 3year rolling basis, even if that were the case, it would beat least 2 years before we are properly compliant and able to spend.

I don't want to go through the Kenwright era again, or the Moshiri era. I want to see the club run properly.

Not if they got an injection of say 60 million in sponsorship, they could spend some of it. Depends on what the accounts for last season where.

Which would matter hugely if it related at all to the issues we have which are with P&S regs of the league not FPP ones which unless we're playing in Europe don't matter at all.

Villa are doing exactly what we did, overpaying, paying unsustainable wages long term, signing player at or past their peak with little to no resale value and who they'll end up lumbered with unable to move them on.

If they don't break into regular European qualification they have a huge problem in 2-3 seasons time.

The PL will mirror their rules to that of UEFA otherwise it puts English teams in Europe at a disadvantage if Real Madrid, PSG etc can spend what they want whilst our clubs can not.
They haven't done that so far, and they haven't announced those changes. They may do in the future, but certainly won't be next season.

He has been claiming that himself even up until yesterday. Yet today, it is a good way of working apparently.
