We’ve got £75m back for all of those players combined. £476m out, £75m in. Oh but damn FFP is just set up to work against us.

It's def not as bad as 400m in the hole. But it's bad enough. Overall with ins and outs Moshiri is 255m in the hole. If you include Moise Keans 25m (rough) incoming fee then it's prob in and around 230m loss over the last 7 seasons, 33m a season.

I've never heard such dangerous talk.

Let's have this right: if we fall through that trap door into the Championship we'll spend a generation down there. We're not set up like a Burnley to bounce right back.

We need solutions now to stay up. Getting shut of that lot is a luxury we cant focus on right now. That's a matter for another day.

Even though so many of the 25m + signings have been catastrophic, it is telling that every single one of the 20-25 bracket have been unmitigated disasters to a man.

I don't think many people see it as a solution. I think some see it more as an inevitability. And, to be honest, I have my doubts for the personal safety of those who sit on the board when we drop, sad as that is to say. Relegation may not get rid of them definitively, but we're not likely to see Chairman Bill back at Goodison if we drop.

But relegation cant be seen as a good outcome to see off the owner and board.
