Lol no they don't. They do as they want, to use the Tesco analogy again, did the consult it customer on increasing prices? No. Are they going to make huge profits. Yes.
Of course they do.
And yes, Tescos will have done customer research on what they can afford to increase by.
You may not have noticed, but we have this thing called inflation, so costs go up, and businesses have to pass those on.
The thing is though, because Tescos value their customer, and have a strong management team, the customers will keep coming back and as you say, they will make profits.
Evertons board display the same arrogance you show. That listening to feedback is beyond them, and they lose tens of millions every year. That's why they need to listen a bit more, or move on from a job they're wholly unqualified for.
I mean all this politely mate. You cant compare the business of Tescos and their leadership team to Everton. They are polar opposites.
I was comparing millionaire owners in relation to your previous post. Very naive to think they don't do as they like.
As Jordan pointed out, its his busines and unfortunately he spent it wrong. Perhaps he should have asked the lads and lasses down county Rd for tips
Well you said Tescos dont take any notice to their customers. But they obviously do.
I'm not sure who is meant to be asking who for advice here. You cant seem to get your head around the idea that successful businesses listen to the feedback their customers give them. This is not a controversial point. It's really obvious, but you are too far gone in your defence of Bill to see understand it.
Like all business they listen to a point. As Moshiri said he listened to fans over manager sackings. Bill is an employee, what exactly you want him to when Moshiri tells him that its his club and spends, on what he wants.
I thought we were happy bill sold his train set (I love a classic)
But you have just mocked the notion that they take any notice of fans. So you probably need to rethink that line of attack a bit.
And Bill is the chairman, which is the most senior role in the club. If he is not happy, any chairman worth their salt would voice that viewpoint, and if necessary resign. But I cant think of a single issue Bill has put a dissenting voice on. He is chairman of the board, and has to hold some accountability for the mess the organisation is in. It would not be unreasonable for a chairman to hold full responsibility for the performance of an org they preside over.

I mock the notion that they listen to them on a serious matters. They OK with do you want pink or Amber shirts this year
How you know Bill hasn't voiced a viewpoint? When was the last time you sat on Everton board meeting and witnessed first hand bill cowering in the corner like your post has us believe
@jinkyali was meant to be, awaiting his match reportDid anyone attend tonight’s Fan Advisory Board meeting via Zoom? Doesn’t seem to be any notes or details on it on social media yet.
Lots have this theory, but it makes no sense. They have USM that has loads of smaller subsidiaries. They don't need to invest in a premier league football club (which by default is in the spotlight) to clean any dirty money. The only explanation for the lack of board overhaul is Bill knowing too much. He knows all about Moshiri and Usmanov’s funding, and Moshiri can’t risk alienating him.
Because both he (and Denise) won't do anything to rock the boat and jeopardise their positions)And Bill is the chairman, which is the most senior role in the club. Why did Sasha Ryazantsev have to leave? Was he embroiled in some kind of scandal like the nephew? I don't remember anything. Can I pose a question, on what Moshiri said about the board. That he's added to the board.
He said 'they've been there for a long time, some are new appointments, they're long standing, they're dedicated, they're local... "
(he then digresses about them being in Liverpool - roots in Liverpool, and about the stadium which is an enormous challenge for a club) "they need to acknowledge they are going through a transformation, and they are working extremely hard and i've added to the board every now and again to support and when needed, you know we do it again, you can't just make rash decisions. We have two big games Saturday and the 21st, that is the only focus"
I'm asking does he know who the board consist of, really? Sasha Ryazantsev had to leave, Keith Harris and Orville gone, so too Brands. Have I missed anyone else? Really when he talks about the board there's only two but in fact there is only one that has been 'long standing'. Answers on a postcard.
In view of this, Moshiri I would imagine is taking the lions share of leadership on the football side from this one person. It would be no surprise then that
he gives the board such support. I've said before, Moshiri is just a puppet for the board. He cracks me up with his madcap utterances. His eccentricity would
be funny if we were not in such a state of decline. In such a perilous position.
If he's looking to sell up he has to learn fast that where we're going the club won't be worth a carrot. New ground or not. We (supporters) are giving you warning.
I don't care if Moshiri loses all of his investment in Everton Football Club but I do care where we're heading I want to stop that plight before it's too late.
It also makes no sense as the whole world knows it was Usmanovs money and that it’s dodgy. He was named in government reports and had his assets seized. If it was all above board, he wouldn’t have been included.@jinkyali was meant to be, awaiting his match report

Besides, to launder money you need to take a sizeable portion of that money back out..... For 7 years it's been a bottomless put with zero return.
It's exactly the opposite of money laundering.
