The Everton Board Thread

Surely there were lots of people in the main stand at the Brighton game, and people directly in and around the directors box. People will be able to say what they saw and confirm the allegations if true?

If only everyone had a device on their person at all times which had some sort of recording ability so that this kind of thing wouldn’t go undocumented.

Thanks Everton! Ahead of Prince Simp!

The Toxic language here is really disheartening but it’s the board that drove us here.

If we don’t get a result here then this weekend then this I think will be the seminal moment in EFC’s demise

Only thousands and thousands mate.

And then several dozen downstairs in the lounge.

And then several hundred on the streets after the match.

Not a sausage was seen (apart from Blue Bill).

And quite rightly would have been a police issue , hopefully it isn't true but I'm very sceptical .
I don't see anyway back for any of the board attending any more home games the club is totally fractured

So in the space of a week the owner has put out a piss weak statement, gone on a national radio station without letting anyone at the club know to basically blame us fans for the raft of managerial changes and now the board are to cowardly to show up for today’s game and have suckered the media into painting us in a bad light with claims of threats against said board after a game 8 days ago

And still people want to defend this circus?

What's it all in aid of?
1) Denying there is anything wrong with the direction of the club
2) Propaganda, deflection of the issues, briefing the media
3) Blaming fans

There's plenty of disharmony and fracture but there is no Everton fan that can say all is rosey. The facts are laid bare at the club. Another relegation scrap is just a symptom. The real unifying concern amongst the fans is the threat of relegation. Never mind nil satis nisi optimum.

Yet the people charged with running the club who are centric to the decline of the club, continue to brush it away, brush it under the carpet. What ever you want to call it. They seem to treat the fans with contempt. Like we're an afterthought. What are we? Go away!!!

It's definitely a sign of disarray and the fans from afar will lap it up, but equally I think it could be, in the long-run, a turning point for the club.

The board have shown themselves to be what they are, and let's not forget it was the fans last year that helped get the players over the line.

This might relight the fire in the bellies of many fans who've been come apathetic - much more so this year - and push for the real changes at the top.

If the board double down from this and go against the fans, they're tying their own metaphorical nooses (no insinuation of violence for all the bed-wetters).
We win today and I will be lifted mate. Just so fed up with everything to do with this Club atm. Can we please have something to smile about?
