The Everton Board Thread

Please can day pass without any violence? Won't take much for the fans to be made into the bad guys. The media hate us already. Support the team and then do the sit in peacefully. I think even sitting there not saying a word would be a very powerful statement.

Security advisers are naturally risk averse. If I consulted an agency which specialises in risk they'd advise I didn't attend a game based on the moody correspondence I get for running a forum.

*Goes on a banning spree to file following threats away as an excuse to not go the game.

Well, you do allow Davek on here....

This is a line in the sand moment. This board after all our support last year to drag us through to survival, have openly expressed their contempt at us and are dragging our name through the mud to a gleeful media in order to cling on to any vestiges of power they can.

SACK THE BOARD

I wanna be absolutely clear that all allegations of violence towards women should be taken with the utmost seriousness. However, I'm struggling to swallow that this when only comes to light hours before the biggest Everton fan protest in decades.

Surely there is ample CCTV outside Goodison?

The players need to come out fighting though ;)
:drunk:

There’s no excuse for violence or the threat of it over a game of football (if there is evidence that this has occurred)

This entire situation though is the product of a board of directors who are just not in control of a single facet of the football club. They’ve created this mess and are seemingly incapable of solving it. Even publicising their non attendance and giving the reason is hardly a good move to cool the temperature down.

The incident supposedly happened in the directors box I'm sure there would have been a few witnesses there

Apparently run by the same kopites who claim we mock Hillsborough at derby matches. Plenty of claims, no actual proof.

So someone put Denise in a headlock and spat at her after a recent home game but it never even made the news. Yeah right, just as if. Then it magically comes to light a couple of hours before a professionally peacefully planned protest against them. It really takes some believing what this board have done to their own supporters today. There is no coming back from this for them. They have lost everyone now and the only way forward is with a new board. Just decent human beings will be enough.

Could you and the MODS not turn up tonight because of the risk of a kick off? We've got to keep you all safe. Asking for a friend / @chicoazul.

And it's taken two weeks for these incidents to make the news and the day of a huge match for us
They are finished as far as I can see
