The Everton Board Thread

Feels like a real turning point has been reached, something now has to give.
Our Premier League status is what will give, unfortunately.

There is no prospect of any change in ownership and, ahem, leadership, until the summer at least.

They'll cling on in the unlikely event we survive but I think it will take relegation to bring about a situation where their departure is more realistic.

They'll go, but they are taking the club with them in the process. These events have been in train for years.

I wonder you know if the board did resign could that be the one thing that forces Moshiri to sell. He isn't going to sack them, but what's he going to do if they walk, he will be in a mess, not in the country with a major assent with nobody running it.

TBF them leaving would be the one thing that might turn Moshiri into a better owner

Instead of investigating Kenwright they do this again.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Kenwright tipped the papers off.

I’m not saying it’s not a story. It’s just that it’s nowhere near the major story.
Makes no sense for Kenwright to do that. He is part of the board. If the "truth" emerges that Usmanov was the shadow owner, Kenwright goes down with the rest of them.

Nah, this was a counter-attack.

Feel completely sick and done with the club. It just continues to go from bad to worse with seemingly no chance of anything improving. We’re going down. The manager is out of his depth but is still here. Most of the players are piss poor. The owner is absent, clearly dislikes the fans and won’t listen to them anymore. The board, the less said the better. They’ve waged war against us. We’re a circus, a joke, and this is meant to bring us joy.

I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this way.
You're not mate.

I've been going to Goodison for 50 years come my birthday in March. I wont be going again until the current board are gone.

I've never felt so detached, so alienated from the club as I do currently. The whole DBB headlock lie has finished me. They've deliberately driven an immovable wedge between themselves and the fans. Theres no coming back from that. They've labelled every fan who goes the game as an uncontrollable thug.
You, me, him, her, those kids in the family enclosure, the old farts in the Top Balcony, the dars, the mars, every single one of us has been tarnished with their shitty brush and it absolutely 'kin stinks.

I'm done.
I will.probably never watch Everton at Goodison Park again.
That kills me but they're not my board, they dont represent me.

They can koff

Counter attack by who though?

To me, it puts focus on Moshiri and protects Kenwright. Kenwright can say he didn’t know anything etc.
By the board's now many enemies. Why would this come out today of all days? As a reaction to yesterday's nefarious statement is the obvious answer.

Kenwright cannot be the chairman of a board being run by a shadow owner and credibly claim he knew nothing.

Bill's a survivor, but he won't survive that. Mind you, I don't think he'll survive yesterday anyway.

I think truly Moshiri wants out, but as a business how does he get his money back (if indeed it was his money spent) Does he sell the club to the highest low ball bid, does he sell BMD? How does he get out unscathed?

Nah, this was a counter-attack.
What is it with Kenwright and ‘shadow’ investors? He directly had them and hen sold to a moron who had one as well. I can’t wait until we have an owner who actually has his own funds
