I’m presuming this is in response to what I’m told is rubbish spouted by Alan Brazil this morning . Despite some comments by posters yesterday myers does seem to be trying to defend the fans , a lot more than people I’d hope would .
Myers is part of the media , name who it is ( we know its Brazil ) and give him a piece of his mind over the comments he made.
Keeping quiet ( like many ex EFC players have done ) only adds to the misinformation spouted by idiots like Brazil.

Never going to end this nonsense is it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the board is still the same regardless of what happens for next season.

You watch, a signing or two is made and the “back off now. Just get behind the team” brigade will start again.

Something dodgy about being so determined to keep a regime in place that has underwhelmed time and again.

I misread your post at first and was halfway through typing a totally spurious reply , fortunately I reread it .

I couldn’t agree more , the amount of silence from Evertonians is highlighted by the reaction of people with no connection to , other than scoring against , the club like Ian Wright . I’m disappointed myers was vague but I’m pleased he , mcnulty to a much lesser extent and a couple of other journalists seem to be pushing back . I’d be much happier seeing the RS echo and a parade of Everton legends , in particular, defending the maligned fanbase that both idolised them and still pays £40/50 a time to give them standing ovations, shake their hands and listen to how Howard move the clock back to sign them on deadline day .

Spot on.

Who knows - probably a large compensation to remove the board? It might be cheaper to sack managers and the coaches.

Or the board knows too much.
