The Everton Board Thread

Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright said: “Kevin and I spent some valuable time with Sean over the past few days and he quickly convinced me that he has exactly the right attributes to make himself a great Everton manager – and a man who could inspire our fanbase. And Farhad felt the same when he met him, too.”

Stealing the limelight as per.
Can’t help himself can he the vomit I hope he gets it on Saturday

Just another piece of info for those who say BK has no authority these days
Probably boring the hell out of Dyche with stories about riding to Goodison on Uncle Cyril’s penny farthing, and how he was king of the boys pen!

We’ll agree to disagree! If anything the protests to date have been too peaceful and too respectful considering the mess the club finds itself in!

But where does that get us? If the morons tear down half of Goodison and throw objects and volleys of abuse at the board? Do you think that will encourage other investors? For anyone looking at putting money into us they'll want a return - and to me nothing will put them off more than a toxic fanbase.

lol

You've literally ignored every single request on this forum to produce evidence of this assault.

Please feel free to show me what the opposite of deflection is.

But the club never made a statement about any assault on DBB? Supposedly it was a leak which implies the club wasn't fully behind it. The fact that something happened isn't hard to believe.

You deflected the argument that some people don't want to formalise a complaint to the police.

So why are you adamant it happened? Please feel free to provide evidence it occured since you're so sure it didn't.

The way this works is you try and prove something happened, then I try and prove it didn't. If you can't do the former than the latter wins.

I also never deflected anything - I was very clear in my posts about why I think it's a load of nonsense for DBB to not report a crime.

Dyche has Kenwright's greasy fingerprints all over it. It's Gary Megson all over again.

Haven't changed my mind about the above

No comrade.

On the former I'm saying the suggestion the club made it all up is far fetched. They didn't say anything definitive and the circumstances lend themselves to that story.

On the former you questioned why anyone would not report a crime to the police. I said it happens frequently. You went quiet.

No one is advocating "tearing down half of Goodison and throwing objects", apart from may be the little runts who chased s**r boy's motor down the road, but they wouldn't recognise a protest if it smacked them right between the eyes!
What I am attempting to say, but not very well clearly, is Moshiri and Co have got off pretty lightly so far considering the mess they are making of this once great football club!

I agree they've got off lightly - because in my view the toxicity of the protests have stolen the headlines. If every blue stood peacefully outside singing their love for the club but not going in - it would be the right, positive headlines around the world. Times change and we've got to this position now.
