The Everton Board Thread

Maybe I’m reading into the way the quote is articulated on the official website but it reeks of “this fella wandered through the door asking for a job, we had a cup of tea and he seemed alright so we gave him the job”

Doesn’t spark any feeling of “from the first moment his tactical strategy for the club and genuine heart felt passion blew us away unanimously and we look forward to many years of success with him leading our great football club” does it. That or our media team are all on work experience from the surrounding primary schools.
That Dave Prentice is head of the work experience muppets tells you all you need to know

Yep it basically reads as 'Bill decided to appoint him because there was no-one else available and he gave Moshiri a quick buzz to check that it was OK.'

Amateurs.

Farhad mishiri said judge us at the end the transfer window back in august. We should've kicked off then. We will defo kick off tomorrow when we don't sign anyone.

What is everyone expecting to happen here I’m a bit confused.

Are we expecting Moshiri to bin off Kenwright and the rest of the board and bring in a complete new board?

Or are we expecting Moshiri to sell the club under the condition the new owner completely replaces the board?

Either way board out right?

Any help most welcome.

Right now nobody is going to buy us in our relegation threatened position and with a half built stadium so the 2nd option is for the lunatics. The first yes but it needs to be constructive. Moshiri has wasted hundreds of millions by being useless for sure but right now we've no other choice.

How's Sharp earning his living this week??

How do you know what he earns? Honest question

I don't but I know he won't do it for free same so if he earns only a fiver what's he done to earn it this week ?

Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright said: “Kevin and I spent some valuable time with Sean over the past few days and he quickly convinced me that he has exactly the right attributes to make himself a great Everton manager – and a man who could inspire our fanbase. And Farhad felt the same when he met him, too.”

Just another piece of info for those who say BK has no authority these days
364 days ago :

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright added: "Frank impressed us greatly throughout our process, coming across as a modern, ambitious and exciting young manager. He expressed a clear vision on how he wants to take the club forward and, importantly, a tremendous passion and genuine enthusiasm to join us.

"I'm sure Evertonians will give him the special welcome that only they can and will be looking forward to giving him and his coaching staff a warm Goodison welcome next weekend."

Sound familiar ? Paid £900,000 a year to write this guff, interferes with transfers, peddles false accusations against the fans of the club whom he professes to love, all the while presiding over the most barren trophy less period in the club's history. With this CV, If he was interviewing himself for the position of Chairman he wouldn't get the job.

I dont think that talk would fool anyone.

Dyche: what you see is what you get. It's meat and potato pie football.
