The Everton Board Thread

Best news for a long time that 25% of the club is to change ownership. Hopefully it signals the out with the old and in with new that is to come over the next few years.

After what seems like years of despair, at last there is some hope that things will get better. Just need get the stadium finished now so that the new US sports investors can get control of the club sooner from Moshiri which should see the end of the current regime for good.

Strikingly similar to us.

"No manager in the world will be able to succeed while Peter Lim and the current management model are in place. Absolutely nobody," he said.

"They're doomed before even starting. All of the recent managers have made the same assessment of the main problems: Valencia isn't run as a proper club and Peter Lim isn't invested in the success of the team.

"The squad is getting weaker every season, and taking everything into account… relegation is inevitable. It will happen eventually, even if not this season."

Just seen this going around

Hopefully after the supporters groups finish their sitdown they will have a strategy that will include going and talking to media outlets. While the board are silent take the opportunity to get the reasons across and challenge the media to push for a response.
If they do go to the media it is 110% essential that they also record absolutely everything in full themselves too, can't trust the media to represent Everton fairly and having your own footage will in of itself force them to be more honest in their editing. If that fails, you've got your own proof of the conversation.
Journos are the least trustworthy people in the world. Be careful around them.
