There is some truth to that, but not totally. We basically begin a new cycle this summer where a lot of contracts that have come off the books finally allow for some breathing room, plus the money from Gordon is an injection

Whether the club loosenes the purse strings is a different question, but there will be plenty of FFP flexibility this summer.

I think it is a combination of things. Including specific circumstances of Bill Kenwright since Christmas. I agreed with @GrandOldTeam not to add that speculation on this forum.

However, there is lots going on behind the scenes at the club.

I would just add. Farhad Moshiri may have different private views on what is going on to what he's said publicly. Moshiri is in a very political situation within the club, including his dealings with the board members

If you have sympathy for Moshiri you have no business attending any protest before the next home game since you clearly don't have Evertons best interests at heart

This is spot on Kenwright only exists now at Everton because Farhad has kept him there, same with Baxendale and anyone else.
He could of bought his people, but I highly doubt that would of helped us since he has no idea how to recruit, his choice of nanagers tell us this alone.

Yeah you could say that, it never would of happened in Kenwright’s time, that's for sure.
That alone showed what Moshiri thinks of Everton fans, we're nothing in his eyes
