The Everton Board Thread

Not sure we should be playing the victim here as far as the PL is concerned.

This is all down to the owner and board who between them have brought the club to the brink of financial catastrophe.

All the blame lies squarely on their shoulders for putting us in this position.
Yeah anyone claiming actual corruption or anything like that on our end as fans should really have a chat with themselves. We all know that we're a basket case and we all know full well as fans that our finances are an utter mess. If the PL throw the book at us they're well within their right to and if anything we've gotten away with leniency so far.

City may get away with something, they may drag it out for years and years, who knows? What we do know though ourselves is no matter their outcome, we in all likelihood are guilty and should face action if right was right. Kenwright and Moshiri have absolutely run the club into the ground and put our once great standing into jeopardy.

Any action that we could face is frankly less than what we deserve as a football club according to the actual laws of the game if we're being very honest. The blame can only be set at the feet of Kenwright and Moshiri, we don't deserve this as fans but we'll have to deal with it, however as owners and board members they deserve every last sanction that they're gonna get, they should be made a public embarassment and a lesson in the history of football as to how exactly to be a failure and how to not run a football club.

This is jaw-dropping garbage. In a year where we were nearly relegated at the end of last season, and currently sit just below the relegation zone again, on the back of 2 games against Bournemouth where we lost 7-1 on aggregate, our esteemed CEO proclaims ‘a year of resilience and progression.’
Why not strike a conciliatory tone acknowledging that the last 12 months haven’t been good enough and mistakes have been made. I have no confidence that those at the top have learned any lessons, instead just put out self-congratulatory clap trap like this.

I'm going to single out Denise Barret-Baxendale for special praise. Our CEO has done such a wonderful job. She told us so. 👏

so to summarize,
we have a board who wont attend games based on spurious claims of fan violence.
the last transfer window was possibly the worst in the clubs history.
the board are refusing to hold an AGM
the club has been charged with financial mismanagement.
No board member has spoken publicly on any of this.
This all happened in 2023 and we're only 3 months in.
The mind boggles.

This is just the start.

Things to come out yet about Kenwright. Watch and see.
Been hearing this for a while now.

Stick a fork in us, we're done.
