The Everton Board Thread

Thats the elephant in the room many fans dont consider when slating Moshiri for not removing him.

If Kenwright goes his media buddies blow the whistle on Usmanovs involvement in the club and we get torn apart by the Govt/PL vultures.
The media give no Fs for Kenwrong and would blow the whistle, without delay, if there were a story in it.

Bit of a stretch here trying to defend Moshiri.

Sort of says what we all think and can see..

Dire, really considering from whence we came and what we have achieved historically but, that is just it, it's history and has no bearing on where we head, other than perhaps influence over potential investors.

Forwards and onwards.

Hopefully 🤞

Not only am I staggered that Kenwright had the audacity to pen that letter with all of his favourite Everton relegation memories, I am perhaps even more staggered that somebody didn't intervene to stop it going out.

They have collectively completely lost the plot and seem have to no sense at all of the fan sentiment towards them.
He convinced them all that his Everton children are just a bit angry, they love him really, and as soon as he tells them how hurt he is feeling everyone will realise that they were all wrong to be angry with Chairman Bill and will beg him to rejoin his 'Everton family' so they can be there for the opening night of his new production 'One man alone in a stand, listening tearfully to travelling fans' coming soon to a championship theatre near you

Spot on

There are many things that are painful about Kenwright’s comments in the annual report, but what I can’t get over is that it must have been checked over and read by several other people, including Moshiri, who must have all said ‘yeah, great Bill, this will get the fans back on board, nice work.’ Or alternatively people told him it was a bad idea to sign it off ‘chairman Bill’ and he just ignored them. Either way it’s a PR car crash.

Your regular reminder Newcastle were 15th at same stage last season.

What can be achieved with decent DOF, intelligent recruitment + functioning board/executive team.
Also bear in mind that the fans were relentless in campaigning against Ashley for years and they are reaping the reward now.

We, on the other hand, have only just started our campaign against Kenwright after he has dragged the club down for decades. Admittedly, Kenwright's media savvy is streets ahead of Ashley's and this has mesmerised the happy clappers for years.

Let's hope he is gone soon.
