I reckon once BK is gone then the spotlight ramps up on FM. As long as BK is there then FM gets off lightly, which might explain why FM keeps him there.

Think it might be the advent of MSP mate. The owner is getting a free pass for two reasons 1) Because he's currently financing the stadium and 2) The business' goes to the wall if he doesn't continue to fund our losses.

If MSP invest and take a reported 25% of the business are they going to be meeting 25% of the losses Moshiri has been funding.....not so sure they will, so that may mean a good few sales and cost cutting and leaner times - necessary probably but not without impact.

Also I think because BK is the single worst thing to ever happen to this club so as long as he's still there then a lot of the focus will be on him. Also possibly because, despite his obvious stupidity, FM seems willing to to get people like MSP on board to increase the corporate expertise (if that really is the intention and not something more underhand, which I wouldn't put past him).

He has definitely overstayed and the game has moved on, the time for him to go from the board was when Moshiri came - i actually think and have for a while that your point is really apt and and an excellent one - he is being used as a bit of Patsey and lightening rod. He ran the business like a jockeys backside for a long time, now we are loosing so much money under Moshiri - that it has to be Moshiri in my opinion running us into the ground, all boards are fine and dandy - but ultimately they serve at the pleasure of the money i.e. the shareholders. The money makes the decisions. So in a way, while we need a new board, its peeing in the wind in another way and not the smoking gun i think people believe it will be- i wouldn't expect significant change even with a new board because the shareholding remains the same - unless MSP new broom it of course.

You have some valid points mate but your personal vendetta against DBB means you'll never look at it from an unbias position.

You say she's only on the board due to being a Kenwright puppet - yet she's a board member of Sport England also which is a prestigious organisation so she clearly has gotten to where she is through merit rather than nepotism.

She is on the board of Sports England

Whilst Everton Football Club has lost >£350million and is referred by the Premier League to an independent commission for alleged P&S breaches ?

What job is she doing exactly for Everton?

As for being on the Sport England board. That's ridiculous in itself. What experience does she have for that? Water sports?

She gets involved in all these external things for self publicity

Whilst Everton Football Club is losing money and in yet another relegation fight

It's ridiculous

Stuff like that is unnecessary mate and undermines you.

Let's keep comments to a standard otherwise credibility is lost.

CEOs are generally self PR driven.

But CEOs at failing/negligent organisations are generally scrutinised too.

To be fair she's been told to look for another job now for getting on 18 months.. if she needs her CV dusting up I'm sure Forever blue would be up for it, the way he talks about her, he'd get Denise into Parliament.

I remember when Moshiri was at his first AGM, he talked about not being a museum, a small window of opportunity and whilst he was here we would have no money worries…..those words now echo through hindsight that he didn’t seem to be overly arsed with organisational process, good governance and inferred a scant regard for regulation now that I consider those words with the passage of time leading us to our current plight.

What role BK, and DBB have had in facilitating that attitude no one truly knows, but if they were in any way against any alleged meddling, both should have resigned out of principal. Lets hope any new investment is meaningful in terms of part recapitalisation, and sports savvy know how with at least two seats in the board

They’re all to blame. Whether you want to single them out individually or just apply collective responsibility, the owner, chairman, CEO and whatever Sharpy is supposed to be, have overseen a disastrous period in the club’s management.

The stadium is a distraction, as it’s effectively a separate project, so it doesn’t matter whether or not it’s successful when it comes to assessing the board.

As far as managing the club, they’ve done a very poor job, hence our league position and the FFP investigation. That’s all there is to it - they’re not good enough.

He was terribly naïve in the sense he looked at City and Chelsea and believed the increased investment would accelerate growth and value and bring a return and that slowly tapering off over time - we know what happened. I don't think he has a strategic plan bar whack money at it - its at what level fatigue sets in at now and with MSP we are seeing signs of it. Remember when he and Usminov were trying to take over at Arsenal at the time i thought - they were terribly naïve - at wanting to just throw money at Arsenal if they took over, so that has come to pass here. While the board aren't without responsibility and certainly governance has been awful, i still believe the shareholder has been the key issue, so a board change, while required, i don't think is the seismic piece people believe it will be. The shareholders always make the big decisions.

Fair point - we know why they dont resign, Bill is obsessed to my mind, his function is a lightening rod now, while probably having a few handy contacts, but the game has moved on way beyond his value and competence now at this stage - DBB is jobbing - looking at the accounts and director remuneration both are prob on just less then a million a year in wages - that's also a big incentive - i wouldn't say Moshiri is meddling, its a bad board that doesn't carry out its remit under the wishes of its shareholders, as majority shareholder hes entitled to do what he likes - im not saying thats right or hes doing a good job - just that's the nuts and bolts of it.

I find it very interesting that the emphasis is on the board - not unjustifiably in terms of accountability - but the owner isnt being targeted in the same way - its for the reasons i explain above - we are dependent on him - thus colluding with him.

As i said above mate, we are at a bit of cross roads with MSP - the board to my mind are already gone - they aren't viable - so Moshiri will change it - MSP will bring some of theirs in - but the key thing to my mind is how we will be funded going forward. If the club is loosing £100 mill + a year - who is going to fund those losses if Moshiri is selling £25% of his stake - will MSP be willing to fund part of our losses annually - if not what impact does that have - key questions to my mind.
