The fan negativity isn't helping anyone

Supporting a football team is very different to watching a film you crank
It's the entertainment business. Some people are very very passionate about their Star Wars, Marvels etc, you'd even call them supporters of the industry. They even go to conventions and dress up like their heroes, just like you see middle aged overweight men going to games with Everton shirts on that are too tight and a name and number on the back. I don't see much difference.

That's twice in a day you've resorted to a personal attack like.

Tickets are expensive, and not everyone is doing so well financially these days, to waste money on booing something u paid a lot of money for week in week out seems like a waste of money. If you don't like a movie, you don't pay to go watch it again, your analogy doesn't work.
As long as you attack Evertonians I’ll reply in kind ,on and off digital media.
Supporting your team is not really comparable to watching a film ,again I’m sure you understand this already.
If however you do regard going to the match as identical to night down the Odeon you have missed the point entirely and have nothing to contribute to the discussion.

I'll glady laugh at overweight, middle aged men going the match in a footy shirt with you but to a proper supporter it's not the entertainment business.

I don't think we'll agree on this so won't argue the point any further!

See my reply to someone else above. It's all about looking at it from another point of view.

I strongly suspect you are being disingenuous with your comments and your true loyalties do not lay with the blue half of Merseyside.

Fair, I just think the word "supporter" has lost meaning these days. That doesn't mean to be a happy clapper, but there's better ways to show disillusion with the club than to boo players. Hitting up BK outside the ground was good, getting the media talking about our circus is also a great move and we're starting to see that with even the BBC writing negatively about the board, but for 90 mins on a Saturday I reckon it'd be good to try and help the lads get 3 points.

It’s really not, I can honestly say I’ve never ever gone to a match with the mindset that I’m going to be entertained! I go now, and have always gone, with the “hope” of seeing them win! Being entertained comes a pretty long way down any list of motives for me going to watch Everton!

Look at these guys surrounding Bill Kenwright - a man in his 70s, who has had health issues, and very much has his heart in the right place when it comes to Everton. The club has been lucky to have him

Listen to the way these guys are talking to him - the sense of entitlement, the lack of respect and perspective:

I'm presuming part of Kenwright's motivation for doing what he does is to try to create something that's positive in the community, giving people enjoyment and entertainment - you kind of have to wonder why he bothers though, if the club is there for the fans, but some fans in fact are such an ungrateful bunch

Are you for or against the 27 years campaign mate?
