The fan negativity isn't helping anyone

Fans don't control what happens or Benitez would never have been hired in the first place. The fans are being negative because the team has earned that response from them just like a year ago the fans were thinking Champions League after the fast start. Fans do over react. It is the nature of being a fan. Want the fans to be less negative? Win some games.

In all honesty Everton should be really grateful they fill out home and away ends consistently and that they have such an engaged passionate group of humans who care deeply about the club’s proficiency.

The fans are cynical, temperamental and negative but that’s a direct result of the continual let downs and mismanagement those fans are subject to. The past six years have accelerated that contempt for their own club because with Moshiri there was even less excuse to not improve, and instead Everton have only got worse. Attempting to PR the fans only patronises blues as they’ve heard it too many times before, they want authenticity and accountability. The latter in particularly has been lacking a great deal.

There is a potential upside in that Evertonians have been taken to a place of desolation so hope and unity can be generated by appointing competent leaders and letting them get on with their job. The thought of Everton signing just alright players and performing competently most weeks would be welcomed as a complete new era, rather than a minimum expectation. Problem is I have no faith in Moshiri appointing these leaders and less so not interfering with them when in place.

Every club’s fans think they’re special. The staunchness of Evertonians really takes some beating through. I hope one day we all get the team and club we deserve.

Right well f off to you and f off to this shambles of a football club then cos it's been in continuous decline since your mate Bill has been running the show. WE ARE GOING DOWN in case you haven't noticed you blind lamb.

If we get relegated there's a good chance that's the death of the club; Newcastle and Leeds are single city teams. We share our city with one of the most successful sides in Europe who have already red-washed the city (check a Merseyrail underground escalator once in a while). Why are youngsters going to support us? That's no generations of fans moving forward because there's no point in us to them.

Financially, the stadium and 75% of the playing squad will have to go and then we'll be left with the worst of the worst of our current squad. But we will be saddled with FFP regulations, no clear operational or sporting framework and completely beholden to Kia Joorabicham who is rinsing us of every penny until we die.

Get a grip. I've had it now, if you are what represent the standards of this football club then f the club cos it's nothing but a hollow relic of a once great name.
Seriously I’ve heard that Kia Joorabicham is being appointed to the board, I hope it‘s just a windup.

Aeroplanes, bottles, general negativity - the fans will end up taking the club down

Can the forum leaders take a lead in injecting some positivity please?

The players will need as much confidence and support as they can get to beat the drop....

are you for real? if anyone takes us down it’s moshiri and that’s it

It's more like a lack of confidence- Villa did not really hurt us apart from one set peice.......we have to stop conferencing those goals ....one win&our confidence will return a definite improvement yesterday....
Joey I really fear that this squad have not got it in them to reverse this free fall. Rabbits permanently caught in headlights.

they have mate.second half shows it

and fat boy has knocked the confidence

dunc has had four days training
I sincerely hope you are right Matty. They just seem to be like Bambi on ice all over the pitch.

Agreed that Dunc had little time, but we are running out of time.

43 years old, former season ticket holder, and I honestly couldnt be less bothered. Not just Everton and the total shambles that engulfs the club, but the PL in general. Load of overpaid, whining, primadonnas. Pretty much the whole league. Clubs barely have a connection with their fans these days. I think I lost faith a while ago when finishing 4th became more important than winning the FA Cup or league Cup
