On form would go for Argentina, France have had an easy ride to the final. Australia and Denmark, whom they should beat, their reserves lost to Tunisia. Beat a poor Poland side, beat an average England and Morroco who over perfomed imo.

The result of this one football match doesn’t change the fact that Messi is the GOAT, he’s the GOAT because of his insanely high levels of goalscoring, assists, dribbling, creativity and passing which hasn’t been now and then, but over the entirety of his career. Doesn't seem like there's much separating the teams. Both had soft groups, the Argentines probably have the better scalp collection and the French probably have the best scalp. Similar scorelines against the common opponent (2-0 and 3-1).

Both teams are a little iffy at the back, so one would think somebody will net fairly early. That should yield a reasonably open game that is a good watch.

Argentina's goalkeeping has been iffy. The rest of the defending has been top notch. Martinez has to show up.
