The biggest thing this takeover will do is provide stability.

We need a board who will see Everton as the club we all know we can be.

From day one, we need a board appointed and a forensic look from top to bottom. Question marks over Dyche and Thelwell will remain because of their recent issues but we had NO BOARD and they kept this club afloat despite the bad times. IF they pull the trigger on sacking Dyche, they must have a manager in who Thelwell has identified will take this club further.

Personally I think we need a new manager to start this revolution and a manager who connects to the club. I don't want Moyes or Carsley by the way, but a man who is forward thinking, attack minded and passionate about Everton. Our manager has to link the dressing room and the fans with an identity and belief in winning games.

We need to create our identity for day one. As a club we are historically successful but 30 years without a trophy is unacceptable so this needs to be addressed. We can't keep looking back and thinking we are a Big Club, we are not but with time and building the right relationships we can.

January Window is a perfect opportunity for the club to jumpstart the rest of the season. We could find ourselves near the bottom, daylight from the bottom 3 and still in the FA Cup or on the cusp on top 10, a great window would boost the team and the final season at Goodison, we could finish strong and make this season memorable.

More long term, commercially, we are woeful. From kit deals, sponsorship to social media, we are operating as a family shop while others are global businesses. We missed out on boat to reach new markets while we had players like Cahill, Howard, Pienaar and James. It's this short term, small gains thinking which has hamstrung us for decades.

We have green roots of a team and a stadium which will be the backbone of reawakening Everton.

COYB!

I agree with all of that but I think you may be setting to high a bar on the manager front, forward thinking and attack minded yes.Passionate about Everton can only come with time ,our last reset brought us Keoman who came in thinking he was Billy big bollocks and too good for the club.
We need a man with the drive and ambition to be the best and take us with him.

I think TFG will have a number of different objectives for the rebuild of Everton football team and squad. This will be separate but obviously connected to increasing the financial performance of the club overall.

We must, first of all, try to stop losing our best players and in particular our best young players. Branthwaite, Pickford, Ndiaye, McNeill and Garner are probably the most obvious.
We need the academy to deliver even more good players to the squad. I think the academy has performed well and the sale of home grown players has helped keep the club afloat. Players such as Chermiti, Mill, Armstrong, Dixon are probably the closest if they are good enough but we need more and I think the current model of recruiting good young players aged around 18 is sensible.

We need to spend wisely in the transfer market and I think we are probably already dong well in that area.

Personally I wouldn’t care one bit if we lost garner and McNeil, if we’ve kicked on in 2 years like say villa have, them 2 will be nowhere near the fist 11

I want them to do nothing but a full audit, develop a plan by late April and execute that plan once the season ends.
Totally agree. I want them to size up the operation properly before making any changes, then make some major ones in the summer. All that matters on the pitch this season is staying up. There’s no point wasting money in January if they’re going to change everything in the summer.

Unless we’re in the relegation zone
