I don't see the lack of communication as a bad thing, if there is nothing in general then ye, but if it's a case of they hire people and let them crack on with it, is that bad? Or are they just trusting the people they employed do the job?
Bet they won't even personally talk to Jim White for no reason at all and totally unprompted, on live tv.

Provided we maintain PL status the timing of this could be extremely beneficial.

New owners , new stadium, new CEO , new manager and coaches, new DoF and virtually all the dead wood out of contract at the end of the season and an opportunity for the new DoF and Manager to completely rebuild and reboot the team.
I expect Thelwell to stay for a bit longer - provided we have a stable model and everything, he knows how this works and is clearly at least decent at his job.

He's done ok but like Kylie I just can't get Beto out of my mind.

How any DoF could think that Beto was the answer suggests that he had no clue what the question was.
Unpopular opinion, but Dyche is misusing Beto here. As much of a horse as he is, he's strong and fast enough to get into good positions and slot a few.

Hoofing to him though? Nah, won't work. No idea what happened in the recruitment department to get him and Maupay honestly, unless they were wanted by the manager.

We've also got Chermiti, the Dobbin scamsituation, Tim Ironbum, Ndiaye, Lindstrom, so one Beto shouldn't ruin his good graces. Honestly if the plan is to give him some times as he knows the club/market/etc. and will clearly have targets set (also wasn't he out of contract in May? Did we renew his contract?)

On the flipside, and more worryingly, he allegedly wants to extend Dele's contract for some reason though.

It was quite simple really, we could only buy a striker, who’s parent club would accept nothing up front and staggered payments.

Tends to narrow the quality of striker available somewhat.

….the amount of monies you have to spend certainly makes it more difficult to acquire the players you need but it should never be an excuse for buying poor footballers, especially for £25m.

‘It’s quite simple really’, you shouldn’t buy ordinary footballers, especially for extraordinary fees regardless of the terms of the deal. There is value out there, it’s why the DOF is paid lots of money.

Yeah makes sense.

Same with the manager, it's quite simple and we should've gone for a better one given our situation and the fact we pay him so much.

See how this logic doesn't work?
