Try Catch 22 by Joseph Heller - my favourite book of all time. So funny but quite profound in its way.

What's Abercrombie like? Heard good things about him.Recently re-read Blood Maridion and then read 2 books by the same author Glen Duncan : The last werewolf and I,lucifer.Both great ideas that could have been better.
At the moment im reading The Heroes by Joe Abercrombie ( excellent game of thrones type fantasy) and some enjoyable hokum called Sandman Slim.
