I left him out at first, im torn about what to do with him.

I of course still really like him, but im not sure if he has a role to play here anymore.

In the text at the end I did stay I think one of those would stay...which + Holgate and one of the kids wed need 1 more CB signed to make 4.

Well Will, we could always just keep playing the same utter crappers every week.

Yeah but getting rid of Davies, Baines, Jags, Keane, Rooney, Schneiderlin (no problem there), Gylfi was mentioned is a huge chunk of the first team only to replace with loads of players who then have to get used to each all over again. Surely the team now needs to be rebuilt slowly as we don't have to worry about European football this season.

Happy to see the back of players who don't look like making a difference but getting rid of the likes of Baines, Jags and Davies seems crazy to me.

I can't argue the majority of that list but I would personally keep Jags, Niasse because he does score which DCL doesn't, Stek because it looks like our reserve keepers aren't all that and I don't see the point in bringing someone in on similar money who will have to pay for. Dowell has to stay IMO.

I sort of agree with the Stek comment, but he has been injured quite a lot recently and im not sure hes somebody we can really rely on.

Niasse is in the same group as Jags, if we cant get anybody better, than of course retain him.

Can't say I'd be disappointed if Sandro was off (assuming we're not still somehow on the hook afterwards for his wages), but wouldn't it be nice if Silva couldn't somehow spark him into form, with the right mix of Iberian coos and whispers? This is, after all, the man who managed even to coax something out of Niasse back in Hull.

I would not be at all surprised to see Sandro score 25 someday for a Europa League-winning Spanish side... or prove himself useful for Benitez's Newcastle... though it'd be pretty unlikely for him to amount to anything for us at this point.

With Rooney and Sandro on the outs, I am going to miss that hit of schadenfreude which came from two younger men than I enduring even more precarious hairlines...

I think Schniderlin might be dependent on Carvalho and Torreira coming in. The same with some of the others leaving, Like; Baines, Jagielka, Funes Mori, McCarthy, Bolasie, Niasse, etc

I would prefer we got replacements in first rather than letting them all go and then trying to get replacements in, because then selling clubs know you are desperate and they jack the prices up and the transfers drag on, or worse we don't get the replacements and we go into the season without players in key positions
