So let me get this straight. People want to sell the majority of the first team, try and bed in 10+ new players when pre season is shorter than usual because of the world cup and the window to sign players is closing earlier. Then when the players play [Poor language removed] for this coming season everyone then kicks off about all the money spent, want the manager sacked and we do it all again next season. Sound.
Well the first team is pretty crap, but the majority want to shift the absolute TON of dead wood we have that AREN'T first team. Garbutt, Martina, Galloway, Bolasie, Mirallas, Klassen/Sandro, Stek, Williams. That's 9 that we wouldn't even miss.

Because buying a whole new team went really well for us last time.
City only used 25 players in the league this season. Chelsea 26, Liverpool 27 and all 3 teams were competing on all fronts. Burnley only used 24 and having a settled team/core squad helped them no end.
We used 30 players - joint most in the league.
Our squad is far too big and needs chopping quickly.

Most of the dead wood at best added nothing at all to the team, at worst, they just made an already bad situation worse - Martina and Williams, immediately spring to mind.
There are many players who could go and you wouldn`t even notice.
