Funnily enough I'm recently single so I have the wonders of Tinder to look forward to again.

How many gym mirror selfies can I get away with on my profile?

As many as you want mate but you'd get swiped left and if you get one of your back you'll probably get swiped up the rse by the fella who takes it. up to you though. Your ex doesn't know what she's missing.

I’m interested to know how many gym goers are using steroids.
I can recognise the massive hard hitters with bloodshot eyes and anger issues but are they used widely by the “looking in shape” crowd.
While there is a lot of talk of a certain team using peds, what’s people’s experiences here using but not abusing them

3-4 years ago I would have said no, but since coming back in to it after a few years off there’s been a massive increase in narcissistic behaviour in and around gym & fitness, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it is on the increase what with Instagram being so popular etc.

There’s not many things more satisfying than being natural and being accused of being a steroid user, though.

I had my appendix out a week ago so am off games at the moment.

Looking on the internet, it's going to be about 6 weeks before I can start running again but Google seems to suggest I can start doing light weights 2 weeks after the op.

Is this right? Has anyone else on the board had a similar op and how soon did you go back to doing things, even if lighter than before.

I'm eating too much toast at the moment and my waistline is growing, so any advice is gratefully received

You'll know not to push. Stop eating toast cos you are bored. Read a book or two.

When I`m injured and can`t run, I always do very light stuff on the bike, just to keep me ticking over until I`m able to run again.

No hills, to start with and cycling at a very easy pace, for shortish distances - seems to work for me.

What’s with those leggings some girls wear which have like a round frame around the arse?

Listen, I’m not a pervert (honest), but it’s hard enough to not look when good looking girls wear cling film trousers ffs.

Hahahahaha spot on that. Some of them are nuts too like leggings properly sucked into their arse - surely can't be comfortable.

I'm terrified to even cop a stare when all you see online is people trying to out 'gym creeps' these days.

I'd say after you get your stiches removed to get into the swimming pool - always good when dealing with an injury.

How can you work out with such a horrific wedgy? lol

Yeah some of them really look for it. I suppose ‘catching a gym creep’ is a sure fire way to get a lot of engagements.

This is probably the thing I hate most about modern gym and fitness culture; the whole filming thing. I quite often take a post gym selfie, but it’s always in private and stays on my phone.
