I've hit my quarterly lull the past two weeks, been only a handful of times. Massively lacking the motivation, mostly due to how busy the gym is after work and the waiting around for weights/room/machines.

Also had a heavy few weeks with mates' birthdays so that's probably more the reason!
I hate this. I'm gonna try going early morning on Thursday and see what it's like.

Their advertising is relentless and a bit cringe tbh.

They’ve got loads of products but I’ve only ever had the powder. The standard one (V3.0, I think) is the best for most people. Funnily enough I’ve got two bags being delivered today. I usually get one bag of vanilla and one chocolate.

It’s not cheap, though. Works out about £1.70 a shake, but for someone who has a very active lifestyle I honestly find it essential now. I struggle without it.
If you dont class that as cheap id hate to be your bird when you take her out for a scran

Haha yer but when ya factor in a granade is like 3 quid for less protien

P4p they stack up pretty decent dont they

explosive gains!

What do people here do for protein?

I'm trying to get my protein up a bit not only for muscle growth but also just to hopefully feel more satiated on less calories. I'm gonna start adding greek yoghurt and powdered peanut butter to things. And I might start using liquid egg whites here and there too.

A doc told me to stay away from protein powders as I tend to get rosacea and he reckons protein powders can aggravate it. Although looking online it seems only the milk based proteins can cause this, so I might look into some vegan ones.
Just stocked up on some warrior flapjacks in the Asda on offer, 2 for £1.50 with 20g of protein in a bar. Thought that was decent, taste respectable but not here for the taste are we or we'd all be sat in KFC scoffing buckets of fried yummyness sweating grease.

Only the Colonel gets a sweat shine fit for competition.

I don’t quite get the peanut butter thing. It’s delicious, like, but it’s very calorie dense, and not a massive source of protein. I’m trying to shed a bit of timber so I only have it sparingly.

I love a protein bar - Grenade and Fulfil are go-to bars. My Muscle Mug do a boss range of instant protein oats that i scran most days in the office for my lunch. PHD do a great diet whey, and I’m also bang into NH Fitness Millionaire Shortbread protein powder at the minute. Vegan and all, if that’s your thing.

Otherwise a wheelbarrow full of chicken breast will do the trick.
