Agree with you there Dan Man. Bily does have the x factor, but doesn't get the chance to show it (much). That caterpillar needs to find his wings!!

Thought Bily was born again hard in the last couple of games. Looked more committed, like as if he gets it now. Felt Arteta played better in the 4-4-2 but he's targeted (closed down) by the opposition, other managers this season are thinking 'stop Arteta and you stop Everton', it's affected him. We need another player who's prepatred to shoot from distance, that could be Bily.

When you play Spurs (for example), you can't target Modric because there are too many others willing to have a pop.

Shame as probably less than 1 in 5 signings have been his 1st choice. As you've said the above LCAB you've defo observed or had the conversation I heard of several years ago (if that makes sense)

I think alot of people forget that we were interested in the likes of Essien before he went to Chelsea (when he was cheaper). Davey is a decent spot of talent - I imagine the main thing is getting the players before others notice so they are cheap and on lowish wages

Good skillz there, Lib. Bily deffo getting there. Anywun in their right (footy) mind wud think that in Bily and Gueye we have ready-made shoe-ins for a Pnut role, and with Duffy or the Hun growin into the JH gap, we'd surely be better off spendin any wedge on a roy-of-the-rovers striker!

Is right fella - and just look how many snides have spies constantly monitorin Davey's picks to steal in there. I mean Angface Arry is an obvious one - MON was another, and so is that gargoyle Bruce...

We've plenty in left midfield & long term it'll be Baines and Coleman overlapping with the midfield tucking in. I think the right hand side is more important long term. Wouldn't mind Jennins for options.

Overall, would prefer 2 strikers, even on loan and take our pick in the summer with the Yak money. With the JH money, I'd be hoping for N'zogbia or similar. Not hung up on anyone in particular, just hoping to see a plan emerge. Duffy may have to step up.
