That was years ago. You'd still be saying Joe cole can rip it up in the prem.

He's high paid and mediocre IMO from that generation of your dyer's, jenas' etc. Coleman just ripped one of the best left backs in the country a new arse yesterday, when was the last time swp do that. So unless he's coming in at left wing over bilya, he's gonna take his spot or bench warm.

Have to laugh at Evertonians moan for a month that we dont sign anyone, and when we get a snif of a player coming in, there suddenly rubbish.

Frankly hes clearly not, hes a good little player and one who has tortured us over the years, exactlly what we need for the gapping hole on either flank.

We don't have a gaping hole on either flank IMO.

Why? No point getting a player for the sake of it, and if i didn't think he was any good before i'm not gonna think it now just because we've signed no one else.

For me these days he's on the level of previous wide guys we've had, McFadden, Davies, and even Anichebe and Osman now.

On their day if the whole team are playing well they might have the odd good game and do the odd decent thing out there. But more often than not they flatter to decieve and waste more than they create.

So in other words he's crap and i'd rather not spend money we don't have on him.
 
Mate.McFadden.. Anichebe and Osman, not one of them are wingers, remotely similar to SWP.
