When Tuncay left Boro I thought he would have been a very shrewd acquisition. Whenever he has got a game with Stoke he seems to have found the net. I wouldn't mind having a look at him on a loan, but he wouldn't be in the starting eleven and so not worth spending out on.

I'm 100% sure nobody is coming in. Moyes simply wouldn't lie on national television about it.

It's all over :P I want to know the exact reason nobody is coming in, as I don't buy that the pot is completely empty for a second, and I also don't believe Moyes is happy with his squad.

Even a blind man could see we need a striker.

His comments were taken out of context though, he said the market is tough right now and he didnt think he would be able to get anyone.

You're giving them way too much credit to say we swooped when there was no time for a bidding war. We panicked having missed out on all our other targets and having to play a midfield pair of Jagielka and a 17 year old Rodwell on the opening day, so threw money at Standard for a 20 year old. I'm among the biggest fans of both Moyes and Fellaini, but that's a panic buy in my book.

We first sounded out Standard about Mofro in March that year and been monitoring him for a couple of years. Whatever happened to Stevan Defour anyway.

Had a bad injury when Man utd where checking him out, Fergie personally sent him a letter wishing him all the best.

Since his injury haven't heard much regarding transfers.

No he didn't.

After the match against Chelsea, he got asked a very direct question - will anyone be coming in to Goodison this month - and he gave a one word, very definitive answer - "no".
