Let's take a moment to reflect on all the wonderful things the current affairs forum gave us... from @bluestevon and his bunker full of potatoes to Loafer and his blatant racism.

The one thing it couldn't give us was a definition of 'woke', no matter how many times we asked.

We had a perfectly good forum that ran well for over 6 years. It was reviewed several times by @GrandOldTeam and always the result by both comment and vote was positive. It was generally a place where information could be exchanged and discussion mostly stayed civil and even self modded. Even the Eu thread remained civil for a long period. The Ukraine thread brought all the latest news from the war, with informed and sensible posts by various people with experience or knowledge, but even that thread was dragged off the rails lately…I hope it gets a stay of execution or brought back……..
