Graham Potter still intrigues me. Was chelsea just the weird fit that was never meant to be.
All his previous jobs his sides were great.
Are we missing a trick not getting him now while there is no block. All i would say is if we got him in give him time to change the whole ethos of the club because it looks terrible now.

Would happily bring him in during the summer. I think going from Dyche to Potter mid season would be too much of a U turn for the squad.

BREAKING NEWS: Lineker leaving MotD at the end of the season and is set to take charge at Everton.

He’ll still be anchoring the BBC’s 2026 FIFA Werld Cup coverage though, so another Everton first - Pundit/Manager.

He will be a manager that needs time surely and the question is will this match with the new owners that seem to be relatively impatient.

If TFG are going to go for an early change I think he'd be amongst the favourites to get it. Not sure about what I'd think of that in mid-season given the immediate pressure he would be under. I like him but he wouldn't give me confidence that change was worth it.

Was his wages and the club (Newcastle) needing to sell before it could've happened.

Way too big a change mid season and definitely haven’t got the personnel to play his way. Look at what Bielsa said when we asked him. We’ve got about three/four actual footballers in the team, the rest are just average athletes and wouldn’t look out of place in the championship.

It's clear that without a major overhaul this squad will be one of the worst in terms of good footballers, but still should finish higher than 17th or 16th.

And we have the occasion to rebuild next season, with a lot of expiring contracts.
