100%, I`d like this club to allow us to dream again, its been too many years going through this re-ocurring nightmare.

I hope the club go and get the best possible proven person out there that they can get to come in...

TFG will want to mean business and make a statement would be amazing

people say say
oh he’s going to west ham

sorry but OUR potential is far bigger

Conceicao has been linked a fair bit again recently, I think he would be a fairly good shout myself, his record is excellent (60%+ win rate) and his teams score goals. He also has the passion that would get the fanbase onside. Tbh its hard to say until we know what TFG actually want to do.

That is true, every time a manager is sacked his name is mentioned and nothing comes to fruition so like you say he is comfortable where he is, why rock the boat if you are happy where you are, Alex Ferguson did why not him

Jep, these are the 2 sides of football. In a world where a lot of players and managers run after the money, this is wholesome to see and what I really appreciate about him, but in the end you can be a hero one day and the hated one a few days later.

Moyes at West Ham is the best example, he gave them a trophy and the best period for decades, but there was barely thankfulness from the fans.

I agree football fans can be fickle beasts to say the least

Of course, but I am a bit a traditionalist to admit, but my club lives values that are often forgotten in the modern world of football, yeah I know it limits us to keep up with the top 3 in the country. Nico Williams could easily play in any squad of the world, but he knows what he has here and therefore stayed here.

I know West Ham invested a fair bit under Moyes into the squad, but when I look teams like Villa or Brighton, they have invested far smarter, because despite that West Ham had a pretty thin squad and also an old squad. This is a lot better at the other 2 clubs, no matter the manager.

I think he also said, his dream was to manage in the premier league one days. And from his skills and previous achievements, he should have a few offers surely.
I think his presence in this country ( improving his English apparently) , his previous rumoured contacts with TFG , and the fact he chose to attend a Roma match here , could be seen as strongly indicative of the possibility he could be our next manager.
Especially with the ownership situation apparently nearing resolution in the coming weeks /days.
It could be also be a massive red herring of course.
But the other club he is tentatively linked with , W. Ham don’t look they will be changing their manager just yet ?
As I say , it’s intriguing but could be a false trail.

I do like how both teams are being run and hope that something similar happens to us, they have a solid structure throughout the whole club and if one manager doesn't work out the have a ready made replacement, which doesn't cause any disruption

Absolutely, I consider Dyche's achievement with Burnley 7th solely is one of the best individual in recent years. But it's a different thing to do that once and flirting with relegation usually, or make a club top 10 constantly like Emery now proves despite a recent form crisis.

Brighton used the money well, and have much better manager. Sorry I just don't like de Zerbi. Not a fan of his.

I can understand that, I always felt he rode the coattails of the previous manager and then went stale a bit like Martinez when he was here
