Allegri isn’t off to West Ham.

West Ham have only just appointed their new manager; sacking him has never been in their plans, and they’d have to pay hefty compensation to boot. Investment at West Ham is also going to be in shorter supply than at Everton in the coming years once TFG are in charge and we are at the new stadium.

The only other possibility is Newcastle, but I don’t see it. Allegri and his Roma chums will soon be at Everton!

I see Allegri more at Newcastle than us.

Anyway we still have a massive skid mark that needs removing first

Probably yes, I think Eddie Howe would be the only English manager, I'd consider to be the right one here then. He surely would not be hostile to train the club he loved in his childhood.

Interesting that we've been linked to Paratici and now Allegri. Seems the most likely out of the names we've seen so far.

Not sure how I would feel about it really. He's a experienced manager with pedigree. Million miles better than Dyche.

He has also been accused of being too defensive, old fashioned and stubborn though.

Isn't that they kind of football we are having to endure at the moment

Exactly my point. Think after Dyche it might be tough to get fans on the side of a similarly pragmatic and defensive manager, even if he is undoubtedly a far far better manager than Dyche.

Relationship between the fans and the team/club is so non-existent atm its worth considering what fans really want to see to repair that relationship. Personally I just want to be able to enjoy watching the game again, as well as obviously seeing improvements in results.

Im not so convinced TFG arent just lining up Allegri for Roma. Ranieri is just a placeholder to get them through this period so Roma is immediately looking for the next manager and he would make a lot of sense.

He is more pragmatic than Dyche and a far, far better tactician ( but who isn’t ).
Maybe he will segue into Dyche’s limited style better? Improving its effectiveness without too much disruption.
A transitional manager?
Just supposition and guesswork at present .
