Lots of professionals have gone on record saying he’s a good coach

We will never know until he gets a job on a good level.

I think Frank Lampard did a solid job at both his first spell at Chelsea, where he had to deal with transfer bans and also at Derby, whereas Rooney has been terrible whereever he was.

Among a lot of managers even Dyche has a lot of credit, even from some managers that are far better than him.

I think there are things that Dyche deserves credit for. Last season especially. His football style is absolutely awful and painful for your eyes, which amplifies the criticism of him. But in terms of league position he deserves a lot of credit for last season, and also the season before for keeping us up considering the desperate position we were in when he took over.

That’s fair enough, but the job is as a manager and if he had no link to Everton he wouldn’t be getting mentioned for the job

Probably he wouldn't, but it's a trend a lot of clubs do, Rooney wouldn't, Carrick wouldn't for Man United, Lampard not for Chelsea, Gerrard not for Liverpool etc.

A good sounding name as a player is a lot worth in the football business, Kompany is another example.

Dyche is perfect for a team around the Bolton of the PL or the top of the Championship, they would be happy with our last few seasons of being in the PL.
We have bigger ambitions than that though, unfortunately our squad is about right for the level we are at right now, with a couple of exceptions, which is why someone will come in and snap them up.

If we were in a position like when Moyes left, never Dyche would be among the candidates for a second. He's not know for good football that is all you will ever know.

Our options as the club back then were Dyche and Bielsa. And even though, Bielsa for me has the status of Kendall at Everton, I would have gone Dyche, because Dyche was the profil what the club needed 2 years ago, but he should have completed his mission to end the season.

Because now the team has a bit more quality to develop he becomes an obstacle, the football is far worse than 1 year ago. We regressed in terms of style and results to rather a point of 2 years ago. There were signs of improvement early last season.

Marco Silva > that ginger/grey headed fraud that's winning this poll. Honestly believe he'll come back in a heartbeat under a new owner that'll back him.

Marco Silva > the Danish moyes also, Frank is the most overrated manager in the league

Big fan of Silva's and didnt want us to sack him.

However i think we either need to go for the best up and comer which is McKenna at Ipswich or the best we can find on the continent who is Allegri.
