I like Thomas Frank but he isnt coming here in the near future and I'm not sure how he would do outside of the bubble at Brentford with the specifics of the setup there and use of data etc. Seems like a mini Denmark.

He would certainly rank above a lot of others but Brentford would probably want a kings ransom in compensation which we have no legroom for.

I'd love for us to get a manager in who could spearhead a charge from relegation contention to Europe and beyond but we may have to do that in stages, and with different managers, if we ever do it at all.
I mean that isn't impossible? We had several managers bring in entire data teams with them, it will take time to implement but it's not like we've never used any data ever or anything. Will it cost a bit more for the staff? Yes, but allegedly back in the day (and hopefully still) we had a data analysis department, it won't be a complete overhaul (I hope sincerely )

Frankly (pun intended) why would he come to Everton? Brentford have good ownership, a new stadium and they are climbing the league. The only way I can see this happening if Frank gets some sort of massive investment guarantee and that is exactly the sort of action that got us into this mess in the first place. Frank is ahem “out of our league”.

The next Everton manger will either be new to the league, someone who loves Everton or an established talent that needs a challenging project. Thomas Frank is non of these

Oh yeah I agree, but just meant that the data analysis team isn't gonna be an issue really.

Do you think Frank would be willing to move mid-season though? I like his style and approach as well. I know they have been outstanding at home the away form is a little disconcerting

Actually, I don't think he would.

He's in a well run club where every staff member and player is pulling in the same direction with a clear philosophy, a strong, nurturing culture and every player is thriving. They struggled with many injuries and the Toney case last season.

The problem he has there the club is financially limited. I think he's a smart manager that will do what he thinks is best. Doubt he wants to be the next Potter.
