…..as I understand it, both are in their last 12 months of their contracts.

Dyche will have to do his talking with results whilst we know Thelwell talks like a politician and will try and influence Friedkin. Interesting what they say about each other to the new owners.

This is kinda my point, I don’t think either sees eye to eye with the other and I think both will try to be in the ear of the new men trying to make a case for himself.

Inshallah we will finally be freed from the horrible clutches of making decisions strictly on results though.

Unless there is another better club sniffing around, we could easily pay him what he wants, he'd be managing in the PL, in a brand new stadium and with the promise of some funds could be given leeway to imprint his style on the squad.

I’m mostly just looking at signings. Thelwell bringing in Danjuma and Dyche never using him as an example. The philosophy doesn’t match imo.

I would bet a football man from 2024 would be fine working with Thelwell. Dyche isn’t that.

If we are appointing an interim, it will very likely be someone with limited experience. The goal should be to survive and appoint when more options are available. If the interim manager kills it, all the better.

Listening to Thelwell in that interview with Guila from Radio Merseyside, he comes across as a Dyche supporter and thinks he is doing a great job. He also mentioned that Coleman still has it at this level, so on both accounts these new guys need to bin both as I want people with ambition, in both of these roles Manager & DOF
