In general I agree that a massive system change mid-season could go very badly. I think you’re being a touch unfair on the players, this current crop hasn’t really been given an opportunity to play football under Dyche, but we’ve seen glimpses in recent games they can.

A lot has changed since Carlo, even since Lampard, you can’t just say that Everton as a club can’t play possession football and that’s that. It depends on the players and the players change. I wouldn’t go for such a drastic change as Sarri but for me a midfield core of the likes of Mangala-Garner-McNeil-Ndiaye-Lindstrom has more technical quality than they are maybe allowed to show.
Agreed. There is definitely a nucleus of players at the squad capable of playing football IMO

I'd take Sarri in a heartbeat.

Wouldn't obviously be a long term option but for 2-3 years he'd change the entire culture and implement the type of system and long term strategy at the club which we should be aiming for with future managers.

The Napoli team he built was amazing to watch.
Deffo. He's hugely experienced and has done well pretty much every he's been

He is a proper coach who will work with the players to get them doing exactly what he wants them too, he also travels with one of the best fitness coaches (Daniele Tognaccini) in the game. Branthwaite, Tarks, Patterson, Garner, Gana, Mangala, Armstrong, Lindstrom, Ndiaye, Iroegbunam, McNeil. There is 11 players listed there who can ALL pass the ball about in the right setup imo.

Bournemouth showed that this squad can play decent football, also the first half vs Leicester.

These are Premier league footballers, of course they can play, you don't get to that standard if you can't. Managers tactics are what you should be questioning, the style he plays must be soul destroying for players. Thankfully with Ndiaye we have a player to get excited about though.

I honestly don't think some people realise how hard it is to play top level football, especially when the better players are all crammed into a few squads but they can play, daft to think otherwise. You see lower league teams knocking it about nicely, it's the crap defensive managers we have had if you ask me.
