We can't just keep paying multiple managers gigantic seven figure salaries. Eventually we have to be free of this seemingly neverending cycle of short term appointments.

Clubs don't seem to beat an eyelid at wasting millions on players though. E.g. how much did Dele Alli cost us for more or less 1 game.

Maybe the shott termism is part of the problem.
In some ways yes but we are 1 point above the relegation zone at the minute. The objective this season will purely be stay in the league which I know it shouldn’t be, but that’s where we are after a manger that has won us 3 games all season and 8 in a 12 month period.

Please link me to this. It has huge potential.

I agree.

But you can’t force the manager you want to take the job midseason when we are where we are in the table.

We’re dealing with inconvenient realities that none of us are pleased about.
Yeah, maybe. I just can't get enthused about anything about Everton currently. They suck the joy out of everything. Even moving into the new stadium is sullied now with Moyes marching us in there telling us not to expect to win anything.

LOL

I haven't read anything by him for about 14 years and he still detests Moyes.

Christ.

Sorry for sharing from another site, just made me chuckle.
He's right though. I can understand us going back for Kendall, he was the most successful manager in our history. What did Moyes do first time around and the answer is nothing, we had 11 years of mediocrity.

I’ll join you in that disappointment if he’s still here in August.

I don’t think he will be, and the apparent battle over the length of contract behind the scenes is what gives me that impression.
