We'll just be a 7th to 10th place team under Moyes better than the last three years yes, but being happy enough with just merely making up the numbers shouldn't be what Everton is all about.

Unfortunately the opposite is the case. A depressing/retrograde appointment if it happens, and we go to the new stadium with a relic from the Kenwright era as manager.

Bring on the "good times" eh. Another couple of years worth of crapping the bed in the truly big games await us.

Would you rather 7th-10th or 15th to 17th.

He's right though. I can understand us going back for Kendall, he was the most successful manager in our history. What did Moyes do first time around and the answer is nothing, we had 11 years of mediocrity.
Its quite peculiar. I could understand it while Kenwright was still here (which we apparently nearly did before Moyes went to West Ham). He was his boy, good times, soapy old tit etc.

But now feels weird.

I do wonder quite what resource will go Moyes' way. Kinda hope it's not big bucks, I think he does better identifying prospects. Could live with that.

Not only that we will be giving up the opportunity in the summer to completely re-shape the playing side of the club for the long term future.
