Anyone who backed the former manager and used “but look at the mess the club is in he’s what we need right now 17th would be a success” as a way of justifying him being at the club, has no right to complain if we appoint Moyes. You just look a massive hypocrite.

I was accepting Dyche and had switched my expectations of any more than survival off until he left. One of the things that made it ok for me was the belief the new owners would come in and have him gone before the new stadium. If they create a situation where this guy is Everton manager for one of the key moments in our history then unfortunately right now it feels like they are creating a worse scenario than dyche leading us out. Just sickening. Hopefully falls thru or is at most until summer.

This club is unbelievable. Wakes you up for a moment with a bit of excitement and then slaps you back down with more misery

That scenario would’ve led to our relegation though, that’s the situation we were left in. So it’s not a worse scenario.

I'd accept Moyes for 6 months maximum - but when does such a short contract like that ever get offered?

If it's 18 months or something, I'm really not interested.

And if that's the best option that TFG can find out there then it's a very lazy solution and not a great start at all.

I'm not buying the whole "who would want to come to us" nonesense. Any up and coming manager has a real opportunity here to build something special and there's lots to look forward to with the stadium and the funds that generates.

Moyes is a nostalgic Kenwright / Moshiri appointment and I'll immediately be very skeptical about every decision TFG make going forward.

Doesn't excited me in the slightest but I can see the logic. Experienced. Defensive minded but will go forward. Lost my respectful him after he sneaked off to man united after talks that janurary took fellaini and tried to kidnap baines.
But he will get my full support until end of season as we need unity to stay up.

Sacked by UTD
Sacked by Sociedad
Sacked by West Ham, twice.

Backwards decision. A red mark on TFG right away.

I don't want to compare him to Jose or Carlo, but when you see their sacking record in comparison with the trophies they won it's not good either.
