Are you going to give the new manager your full support for 12 months as you stated you always do ?
I was in the crowd that day with Daniel Miller (@ToffeeDan) wonderful day, Dan had just lost his dad and was desperately looking for some good news.
'Most probably keeps us up'...we just got rid of 'most probably keeps us up'.What’s funny?.
Move him upstairs like they're planning with Ranieri I'd guess. Not necessarily as a DoF like Thelwell but maybe as the board member responsible for football operations?Sensible way to look at it.
I think any manager we hire is 'Yes' to the first 3 questions, as we'll recruit this summer and bring in pace. We can't get any worse.
It's the last question for me, given how big this summer is.
Do you think TFG would sack him in the summer?
The Thatcher lover got his comeuppance.'Most probably keeps us up'...we just got rid of 'most probably keeps us up'.
Do you not watch other teams in the PL and get cheesed off we don't take chances??
No we have got rid of - Kept us up but was sailing us blindly towards Relegation, like he did with Burnley.'Most probably keeps us up'...we just got rid of 'most probably keeps us up'.
The underhand manner in which he behaved in joining Utd and comments afterwards were disgraceful.
The tribute to him was one of the most embarrassing things I've seen as an Evertonian. It had the air of a club knowing it's place and staying in lane. He should not have been allowed to see out the remaining games.
I recall that the staff at Utd used to sneeringly refer to him as "Everton". I don't blame him for taking the opportunity, but it was handled very badly.
And yet here we are, on our arse again. More than a decade has passed so feelings, for me at least, are not as strong as they were.
Provided he keeps us up and knows his own place, then personally I'd be prepared to call it quits. If that meant one more season so be it.
It's a marriage of convenience but we can divorce in a little while.
He won’t be signing anybody.…..a plus for me (with my controversial view of our dreadful transfer dealings) would be him coming in at this time and identifying a few targets. He’s a football man and he knows a player which is something we’ve been dreadfully lacking.
The only reason its "most probably" is because your man F up the first half of the season.
Cast your mind back to AFTER Moyes left: the weeks / month before he was finally officially hired and meeting his new United team at their training ground Carrington.
This feller stayed on at Finch Farm and retained his office for that whole month; and he also insisted on being part of the process to decide who succeeded him - putting Stubbs, Weir and Neville forwarded.
He took the absolute piss - even BEFORE his traitorous remarks demanding Everton hand him Baines and Fellaini.
What sort of fan forgets that and hands him a second chance?
Anyone who supports this slap in the face appointment from these clueless owners need to ask themselves where their resolve has disappeared to. WTaF?!?!
Good God noI would rather bring Brown Shoes back .
He won’t be signing anybody.
