I guess we'll now find out if Dyche, many journalists and fans of most other teams were right that we have one of the worst squads in the league and should be grateful to be 17th...

Yeah, but twice.

Yeah but Dave didn’t word that question that way. He asked how many teams had he relegated, not how many times has he been relegated.

We could get technical & say that Burnley weren’t relegated when he was sacked.

Either way, I was going to ask Dave if Jurgen Klopp or Conte were good enough for Everton seen as they’ve been relegated once aswell.

Oh. Fair enough, both Burnley relegations were quite a way apart so you could argue they were actually completely different teams. And the second one he got sacked after 30 games because they were getting cut adrift in the bottom 3 so I don’t think he can be saved from that one myself.

Just Burnley he’s relegated hasn’t he?

Yeah.

Technically, Moyes has the same number of relegations as Dyche.

Moyes relegated a team that had been in the Prem for 10 years, at the first time of asking.

Dyche got a team he tookover in Oct I think, promoted same season, who went straight back down.

He all but relegated them the other year, but he was sacked with them in 18th, 4 points from safety with 20% of the season/8 games to go. So technically, it's 1 relegation each.

Fans are sheep and get their opinions from the mainstream media, who are all Dyche’s mates because they are paid to promote English managers. What they think means absolutely nothing, they don’t have a clue.

Have tbh. I liked Moyes during his time at the club. At the time I was probably one of his biggest advocates on here. In the end however it felt as though he overspent his time here for at least five years. Had probably the safest job in world football, except maybe from Wenger at Arsenal.

The 'plucky little Everton, punching above their weight' narrative by the media was something both he and his pal Kenwright were quite happy to adapt. Hitting that glass ceiling, no pressure at all for both that way.

Also the manner in which he left after that 'era' left a lasting sour taste in my mouth. If I remember correctly he actually was still officially employed by Everton, while trying to tap up Bainsey and Fellaini.

Moyes undoubtedly and undeniable is part of our past. And imo he should stay exactly that.

Any manager relegates that Sunderland side they were absolutely atrocious & a basket case of a football club.

It was an awful move to take that job.
