The Return of Hooliganism

Its deffo weird. Some stand up comedian, and football supporter, on the radio earlier reckons that, post lockdown, too many folk have forgotten how to behave. He sees similar in comedy clubs. Not violence, but way more abusive and offensive "heckles".
Same in schools. Much worse behaviour across the country.

Yes cheaper and better quality than ever before.

That mob that invaded at Wembley at the Euros final were coked up to the eyeballs, loads of footage of them openly snorting coke before the match.

But like someone above said it never sent away, Euro 2016 in France with England and Russia in Marseille showed it hasn't left our country, new generation now.
Price of cocaine has actually gone up a over COVID but yea its a huge issue still, especially for people in their early 20s. So many of my friends do it, including ones who used to be anti-drugs.

As others have said in this thread, hooliganism has been glamorised in recent years due to movies and the popularity of certain clothing brands. Lots of people I went to school with are part of 'firms' now lol

Also, as others have said, people in general have got ruder and 'yobbier' over the last few years for various reasons. COVID has made this worse for some reason, rates of violent crime are up in a lot of places.

It wasn't Alan Davies was it ? Not surprised if he is getting abuse after his racist rant at our owners.

I'd think the clothing is a by-product of hooliganism rather than the other way round unless a Stone-Island jacket somehow overpowers the brain.

I tell thee, I tried on a White Stuff jumper the other week and I just wanted go and hang at a coffee shop, drink soy latte, and pontificate about Waitrose dropping free coffees. Think there might be something in it.

I’m the same when I don my Crew Clothing Gilet.

All I want to do is jump in the Range Rover, with Bertie my chocolate Labrador and head to the nearest beach for a bracing walk.

No. It was the bloke who stands in for Andy Jacobs, a few days a week.Charlie Baker (?). It wasnt a long monologue, more a throw away comment during a piece about this issue.

This explains everything. I brushed against an individual last week who was wearing a pastel pink Stone Island coat and certain urges cam over me.

Drink Stella... go for a curry... call the wife a slaaaaaag... support Northampton Town or some other obscure team... require a subscription from numan.com

It all make sense. Poor old @davek is being controlled by the donkey jacket and trade union pin badges.

I was only asking because Davis embarrassed himself and showed his true colours. His friends in the media omitted to report on the worst of his rantings, and it has all smoothed over. People want Jimmy Carr cancelled for his joke about travellers. Yet the same people in the media are quiet about Davies telling our owners to "++++ off back to where you come from. Nobody wants you in our league. ++++ off back to the desert and start your own league"

Deeply concerning and can be linked directly to the Tory culture war, although with this being forum for a proudly scouse club I’m sure we do not have any tories on here, even shy tories. It would just make them massive hypocrites.

End the violence. Although tories don’t do violence as they’re cravat wearing sneering old turtles.
So, you're saying that Labour supporters are the problem?
