No matter the score, bring them on with 5mins to play and tell them to "take out" two of their players mortal kombat style.

Delph will injure himself in any challenge so really we have nothing to lose and Besic would live in folklore forever...

Delph would injure himself falling off the bench and Salah would obtain a penalty from it.

The last derby was a throw back to Derbies of the past when both sides went hell for leather. Lots of snide tackles from both sides and I personally can't justify Pickford or Richarlisons tackles because they were intent on hurting people, sorry to say it like but they were (Richy in particular). They do it all the time though so the hypocrisy wound me up most. The ref will have to be on his game because they could well turn this into a bloodbath especially if they go behind or can't break us down. Mane and Robertson being the ones to watch out for.

I'd play Olsen anyway, throwing Pickford in when your rotating the two is stupid in my opinion.

I'm dreading it. I'd take a boring nil nil and no injuries to our players right now.

Give you Richarlison's but if you think Pickford's challenge was with intent, I can only assume you're getting your information from the usual dubious sources.

Have to disagree gents. Pickfords was reckless, even I winced watching it back. It's no surprise that van dike i out for the season as a result. It doesn't help that I can't stand Pickford and if it was Allen who had done similar I'd defend it more but you are lying to yourself if you don't think Pickfords challenge was reckless. He was lucky not to have given away a penalty and seen us down to 10 men. I doubt many of you would defend him for being the reason we went on and lost if that happened. The lads a clown.

I just don't see the RS being out there with intent to injure. They'll go hard. But they did last match as well.

What will absolutely happen is the ref giving them every call. We will be given phantom fouls - RS will have to break a blue before being given a foul. We will not receive the correct decision on obvious reds or penalties earned. The protection will in place for the little red team.

And the commentary... I shudder to think how one-sided it's going to be. With regular vvd annointings throughout.

They have cryarsed over st virgin for so long it's inevitable they are going to try and nail a few of ours, for their favourite word "justice".

I think they will go after James, Richo and DCL as per last time, and now Pickford at any opportunity they get.

We know the ref is going to bottle any calls against them, so we right fire with fire and hit back just as hard, dive, scream, get in the refs face all the time - we've bugger all to loose, but I fear we are too nice for that.

Spot on about meeting fire with fire and the likes of Allan, Godfrey, DCL and Davies need to get in their face. Without getting sent off obviously.

Agree about the points people make about refs media etc. Just want us to do ourselves justice. And snap that rat Robertson. And Mane. And Hendo....

It's been a nailed on guarantee since the last one that the ref may as well wear a red top for this. I just don't see the point in putting Pickford in for this. Slightest touch in the box and they get a pen all day. I'm fuming about it already.
