People use the fact that why would he give up Champions League football to join us? The fact is he isn't playing Champions League football whilst he's sat on the bench at Chelsea and with a world cup on the horizon he might just value first team football enough to see us as a fairly attractive proposition.

Wasn't it reported that Liverpool had enquired about loaning Mata? I mean yeh he'd be amazing here, but just cant see it happening. Atletico Madrid are apparently after him as well, and as someone said earlier, most of the top sides in Europe will be.
